“The podcasting market is incredibly competitive, and I knew that if I was going to take this journey I wanted to put out a unique point of view. I set out to transform my conversations with game industry veterans into evergreen media that teachers, students, and developers could come back to regardless of experience level, with helpful context, asides, and narrative that helps listeners connect the conversation back to the industry at large: past, present, and future. I’m honored to hear that this approach resonated with the judges at the Signal Awards as much as it did my listeners.”

And for listeners who want to explore these themes more deeply, the podcast was inspired by the research for Cheryl’s bestselling video game development book, The Game Development Strategy Guide, which was recommended by Kirkus Reviews.
