Design Beyond Devices: Designing for Multimodal, Cross-Device Experiences
November 5, 12, and 19 — 15:00 – 17:30 CEST*
€300 for 7.5 hours of instruction (inclusive of breaks)

Your customer has five senses and a small universe of devices. Why aren’t you designing for all of them? Go beyond screens, keyboards, and touchscreens by letting your customer’s humanity drive the experience—not a specific device or input type. Whether you’re designing a cross-device experience that spans desktops, phones, and beyond – or whether you’re grappling with the combination of visuals and voice, you’ll come away with important new tools you can apply immediately. Day 1 features basic concepts, Day 2 covers systems and frameworks, and Day 3 covers design and delivery techniques. Each day features multiple hands-on exercises using breakout rooms and MURAL to help solidify the concepts for attendees. Based on the concepts from Cheryl’s new book from Rosenfeld Media. *Note that for US participants, the start time will change midway due to the return to standard time.

“Thank you Cheryl for putting these sessions together for us. We have gotten a lot of positive feedback from the learnings and we’ll likely be using the frameworks and techniques in a number of our projects to come.”
